What happened?
Jennifer Quiroa (Brown '09), Alana Rabe (Brown '08), Brodie Herb (Staff) and Jarrod Lynn (Intern) volunteered at the Good News Hurricane Katrina relief camp from July 20-25.
Good News Camp Update:
Mission NOLA was accomplished. To our best understanding GOOD NEWS CAMP ended up being the largest faith based disaster relief camp / volunteer base in American history. We hosted 17,000 volunteers, distributed 700 semi truckloads of supplies, facilitated some $75 MILLION DOLLARS in goods and services, got thousands of people jobs... and most important LED COUNTLESS THOUSANDS OF LIVES TO THE LORD!
