WHERE: New Orleans, LA
WHEN: January 5-13, depart after Boston Winter Conference
WHO: Anyone! Immediate need is requested for people to help with the rebirth of this coastal community. The city is coming alive again and we can help to clean, rebuild and restore the lives and homes of its residents.

WHAT: We will serve at distribution centers, deliver food to homes, as well as clean homes, churches and schools.
HOW will you travel? Airplane - Boston to New Orleans
HOW much will this cost? $400 per person
Cost includes: air travel, rental car, supplies, and snacks. Lodging and food will be provided.
Schedule: leave Thurdsay morning, Jan. 5; arrive same day in New Orleans Thursday evening; work 6 days, then do a day of fun and outreach to the community on the 7th day; depart New Orleans Friday morning Jan 13.
HOW will you fundraise? Our goal is to raise 100% of the funds needed. Here are some suggestions to get you started:
Ask friends, family, and churches to partner with you financially to meet the needs of those in southern Mississippi. I think this is your best and most feasible option. If you asked 8 people to support you for $50, that's $400. Or, you could ask 4 people to support you for $100. You get the idea. If you have a job, work extra shifts.
- Contact organizations for support, such as non-profits or companies you have connections with who would want to partner with you on this powerful project.
DEADLINE to SIGN UP: December 15
Contact Brodie Herb to sign up, as well as if you have any questions, concerns, comments, suggestions. We would like a $100 deposit by this time. Please make the check out to Campus Crusade For Christ and send to Brodie Herb: 43 Auburn Street, Pawtucket, RI 02906.
Once the team has been determined, there will be meetings and emails to organize, mobilze, and fill out paper work (medical waivers, insurance, registration, etc.).
Why should I go on this Winter Break Project?
Help is needed and requested, you are available and able.
- Be an example to your friends, family, peers, and perhaps inspire them to go on a similar project over spring break or some other time.
Confused with, concerned about, or still questioning all that's happened?
Here are some resources that might be of some help:
